St.George's Library Fund
Recognizing that most Ghanaian children have little or no access to storybooks, St George’s helps to set up community libraries and stock them with carefully chosen books in various fields of study. With the support of the community and local Municipal Assemblies we aim to provide the children with colorful safe reading environments manned by caring trained personnel.
About Us
St George’s Library fund was established on 10 October 2011 to bring books and literacy skills to children and adults in needy Ghanaian communities.
Its main objective is to instill and inculcate in children aged between 3 – 14 years the habit of reading, give skill training to rural dwellers, and provide literacy classes for illiterate adults and school drop outs.

The provision of literacy classes for illiterate adults helps boost their confidence and improve their self-esteem and job prospects.
We have currently set up two libraries – One at Kweiman Presbytarian school and the other at Adma Basic school Amrahia in the Adentan Municiality.
The Executive Council is made up of experienced professionals with top level experience in psychology, education, and corporate leadership.
